About Sid
Sid specializes in knowledge management and information architecture, with a background in how organizations across industries capture, structure, and maintain the information their teams rely on.
Before turning his attention to knowledge systems, he worked closely with business owners and operators in a number of different sectors. His firsthand experience of how businesses actually operate, how decisions are made, where information fails, and the costs of the wrong answer reaching the wrong person shapes how he now assesses knowledge management.
His research focuses on knowledge management in practice, not merely in theory. He looks into whether the people for whom a knowledge system is intended actually do use it and investigates the obstacles that arise when they don't. Upon evaluating a knowledge system based on RAG, he concentrates on whether the answer it provides is one that a person can trust and act on, not just an answer that sounds correct.
Sid has evaluated the content in light of established knowledge management frameworks, compliance standards, and the operational workflows of the people for whom the content is intended.

What Sid reviews
The advice in an article - does it reflect how organisations actually work, or just how the topic is typically explained
Claims about AI and knowledge tools - do they match what organisations experience when they use them in practice
Industry examples - are they grounded in real situations or constructed to make a point
Compliance and governance content - does it reflect what organisations genuinely deal with when policies and regulations change
The overall content - does it give someone enough to make a real decision, not just enough to sound informed
